Ensuring smooth online identity verification relies heavily on the quality of images captured by end-users. However, image quality can vary significantly depending on the subject, device, and environment. To achieve high accuracy in assessing images of any quality, Liquid has developed quality-check models that undergo continuous updates and adjustments through machine learning. Moreover, Liquid has analyzed potential forgery patterns based on historical data and enhance our resistance to spoof through the creation of over 50,000 spoof data samples internally.
AI-powered OCR platform
We extract necessary data, such as name, address, and date of birth, from identification documents for the verification process. The accuracy of document matching can vary by 10-20% due to OCR precision and image quality. For example, in a review of 100,000 cases, this can result in a burden of manually checking 10,000-20,000 cases, significantly impacting the cost of identity verification operations.
